Airport Ops/
ARFF Specialist The Friedman Memorial Airport is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time, non-exempt Airport Operations/Aircraft Rescue Firefighter (ARFF) Specialist. This position is responsible for day-to-day safety, security, emergency preparedness, and regulatory compliance of the Airport during an assigned shift. This role is often required to work independently,with little supervision, on any given shift, 24/7/365. As such, applicants must be proactive, self-motivated leaders. Responsibilities include the inspection and documentation of airfield status in accordance with FAA and TSA regulations, responding to and managing emergencies in the capacity of an FAA-certified Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter, maintenance and repair of all airside, terminal, and landside facilities. Other duties include snow removal, coordinating airport construction, mitigating wildlife hazards, and enforcing Federal, State, and local regulations including environmental regulations.
