Part-Time Gallery Manager for our
new visitor center.

Job responsibilities for this salaried
position include, but are not limited
to, managing the photo exhibit gal-
lery 25 – 30 hrs/wk, interacting with
visitors and answering questions,
processing retail sales and dona-
tions, assisting with student intern-
ship program, managing interns, per-
forming assorted administrative
functions, and attending staff meet-
ings.

An ideal candidate has a 4-year de-
gree, a friendly and approachable
demeanor, and a willingness to learn
about current wildlife management
policies and legislation. The ability to
work within a small team, detail ori-
entation, and excellent communica-
tion skills are also key.

Some understanding of wolves, and
the controversies surrounding them,
is desirable but not required. Must
enjoy working with the public, have a
passion for the natural world, and
feel inspired to protect wildlife.

Bloom Librarian: The Community
Library seeks a seasonal, part-time
Bloom Librarian to perform a variety
of tasks that maintain the orderly
flow of daily business at The Com-
munity Library's portion of the
BLOOM truck. The Bloom Librarian
is responsible for several areas of
library operations, including circula-
tion, technical services, and cus-
tomer and patron service. At the
Bloom truck, the Librarian must
convey a particular enthusiasm for
children's literature, for children and
teens, and for educational program-
ming. This is a seasonal (summer)
part-time position with a minimum
starting wage of $18/hour and an
estimated start in Mid-May.

Regional History Museum Intern:
The Community Library seeks a
part-time summer intern for the
Center for Regional History. The
summer Regional History Museum
Intern assists the Regional History
staff and will focus on Museum op-
erations and Museum collections.
Duties include leading the public
through exhibits, performing daily
museum operations, and entering
descriptive metadata for collection
objects. The ideal candidate has
educational interests in history, sto-
rytelling, forensics, and/or museum
studies, in addition to excellent
communication skills. This is a sea-
sonal (May/ June-August/ Septem-
ber) part-time position with a wage
of $16/hour.

The Patricia Crandall Lane Trail-
ing of the Sheep Festival Ar-
chives Summer Intern:
The Com-
munity Library Jeanne Rodger Lane
Center for Regional History
(JRLCRH) seeks a part-time sum-
mer intern to work on The Patricia
Crandall Lane Trailing of the Sheep
(TOTS) Festival Archives. The Cen-
ter received the archive in 2019 and
is currently processing it and mak-
ing it accessible for researchers.
The archive contains the record of
the Ketchum-based TOTS organi-
zation that formed twenty-six years
ago to celebrate the history of the
multi-faceted expressions of sheep
ranching in central Idaho. Under the
direction of the Center for Regional
History, the intern will assist with
the archive, specifically, at the Li-
brary. Duties include completing the
initial inventory, processing a small
portion of the archive, and learning
to create public access for the ar-
chive. The ideal candidate is ex-
cited about working as a part of a
team while learning about archival
processing. Demonstrated interest
in U.S. history, public history, story-
telling, forensics, agriculture, cul-
tural heritage, and/or library and
museum studies is a big plus. The
intern position is funded by the
Trailing of the Sheep Festival
non-profit organization. This is a
seasonal (May/ June-August/ Sep-
tember) part-time position with a
wage of $20/hour.
