Victim Advocate (Weekend, Bilingual Preferred) Seeking a compassionate and dedi- cated individual for our weekend Victim Advocate role. Responsibili- ties include advocating for survi- vors, facilitating case management, and ensuring the safety of our Tran- sitional Housing and Shelter pro- grams. Candidates must demon- strate a strong commitment to sup- porting survivors of domestic vio- lence, sexual assault, and traffick- ing. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential. Reporter/Copy Editor The Idaho Mountain Express , the valley's community newspaper, is seeking an exceptional Reporter/ Copy Editor for its dynamic newsroom. We need an experienced, organ- ized, multi-talented journalist with a strong nose for news who can serve in a variety of roles in telling the stories of the Wood River Val- ley and Sun Valley areas. The can- didate must possess strong copyediting, line-editing, reporting, headline-writing and page-design skills. Should be a good communi- cator willing to help young report- ers hone their skills and to support mid-career journalists. The Reporter/Copy Editor will partner with the editor to publish newspapers twice a week, as well as special sections, special proj- ects and seasonal glossy maga- zines. The job includes serving as the chief copy editor, responsible for maintaining the quality, style and consistency of all copy in the newspaper and other publications. It also requires organizing, editing and posting news stories and breaking news to the newspaper's website and newsletter and man- aging its social-media presence. He or she is also responsible for writing news stories and project pieces. The job is full-time with limited overtime. The work is primarily in-office. Annual compensation ranges from $50,000-up DOE. Benefits include fully paid health, dental and vision insurance that total $8,268, paid sick leave, paid vacation within the first year of employment, seven paid holidays, 3% retirement match and access to a shared ski pass.
